Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Lübke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Hellmuth Mönch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Hellmuth Mönch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Lübke was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olaf Lübke. SC Otten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 26th match minute, SC Otten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hansjörg Görlitz to maneuver through the defense. Dirk Decker scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olaf Lübke saved SC Otten from getting behind. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takacs Tibor to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirco Maier to make the kick off. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Olaf Lübke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. The crowd rose to their feet as Takacs Tibor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olaf Lübke. That made the score 1-5 in the 52 minute of play. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Olaf Lübke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Antal Valentin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olaf Lübke. That made the score 1-6 after 59 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 64th minute. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olaf Lübke. Olaf Lübke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Major Barna scored 1-8 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Lübke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Olaf Lübke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Otten's zone, Takacs Tibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Lübke came out of the goal and Takacs Tibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Takacs Tibor took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Olaf Lübke to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 88th minute of play forced SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Antal Valentin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Donny Rebell got a free kick in the 95th minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
