Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 5th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gaueko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marco Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Gaueko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia FC's Tiburcio Gaueko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Zaccheo Andolina in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 21st minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Gaueko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Marco Pero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Adan Haimar got a free kick in the 26th minute. Marco Pero struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia FC. In the 33rd minute Marco Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Italy's Siricio Liotta made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Gaueko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zaccheo Andolina might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Gaueko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaccheo Andolina ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sostene Vitulli. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Enar Lehepuu hit a great ball. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Quirino made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Academia FC made a substitution. Aurelio Soin replaced Marco Pero. Sostene Vitulli kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tiburcio Gaueko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Academia FC booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deodato Magliozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Tiburcio Gaueko made a huge save. Lucas Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. Academia FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Italy had controlled the match.
