Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Floris Claeys hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. The supporters of Belgium booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Dalmu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Francis went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 24 minutes, Elpidio Francis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Belgium's Casper Claes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Simon Sabbe in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Benicio Seguinus. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Francis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Elpidio Francis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Francis in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Floris Claeys. Elpidio Francis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Elpidio Francis made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Francis in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line.
