Adam Olaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Solskjær having to interfere. Rasvan Cristescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alaaddin Solskjær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alaaddin Solskjær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Romania were awarded a corner. Adam Olaru went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Kurdistan's goalie and right to Alex Serban. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Kurdistan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Romania's Costica Vladimiri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alaaddin Solskjær. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Romania made a substitution. Alexandru Pangratiu replaced Alex Serban. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 72nd minute of play. Octavian Vaduva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Alaaddin Solskjær made a huge save. Romania's Anton Stinga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Romania's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roni Ronaldinho took the corner. The corner led FC Kurdistan's Roni Ronaldinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Carol Stinga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Romania played a much better game than FC Kurdistan and deserved their victory. The FC Kurdistan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
