A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Berkes got free with Tommy Kahn in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Berkes. Gyula Grósz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Malte Schiele put in a rough tackle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pál Borsos got free with Tommy Kahn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pál Borsos went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

A collision led to Mesterháza getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Domenico Ottavi hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Bermudez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Bermudez in the 63rd minute of the match. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 71st minute of play forced Mesterháza's goalkeeper Gyula Grósz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linus Schwerner came free in the 80th minute and tried to tip the ball over Gyula Grósz, but to the joy of Mesterháza's supporters the ball went over. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Sándor Rácz took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Mesterháza walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
