The Rio Gallegos Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Iza should have stopped the shot. Roman Iza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kyle Cox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Iza was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 23 played minutes Rio Gallegos Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Pacorro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 24th minute of play forced Rio Gallegos Unidos's goalkeeper Roman Iza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Iza having to interfere. If Issac Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Gallegos Unidos's Roman Iza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Micah Macdonald. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Oscar Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Mancio in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, England's Micah Macdonald made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Iza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rio Gallegos Unidos made a substitution. Cesar Belo replaced Paulino Mancio. Roman Iza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Macdonald in the 90th minute of the match. Orlando Mitxel charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Mitxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rio Gallegos Unidos's Orlando Mitxel got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Nuno during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
