In the 95th minute, Sergio Ruiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manfred Fribäck. The goal made the score 1-5. The Norrlands Athen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spain were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
