Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rabah Timsit made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when THE OLD BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Timsit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Rabah Timsit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE OLD BOYS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamid Morceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes THE OLD BOYS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hamid Morceli quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rabah Timsit got free with Fodor Daniel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Lennart Bäckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of play forced THE OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Hamid Morceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabah Timsit in the 76th minute of play. Antal Valentin scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamid Morceli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Houari Rimitti kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamid Morceli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, THE OLD BOYS's Houari Rimitti got a free kick in the 96th minute. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after THE OLD BOYS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli managed to reach the ball for a save. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
