Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Hong in the 2nd minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Radu Barbălată made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of RB Buzău's Radu Barbălată. Radu Barbălată was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by RB Buzău's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Italy's Sostene Vitulli getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 22nd match minute, RB Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikola Milenković to maneuver through the defense. RB Buzău's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind RB Buzău's goalkeeper Radu Barbălată, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zheng Cheng Zheng's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Flavio Vittori skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galo van Basten in the 31st minute of the match. Nikola Milenković got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zheng Cheng Zheng. Zheng Cheng Zheng took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Radu Barbălată didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jiang Hong was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by RB Buzău's Zheng Cheng Zheng. But to his dismay, Zheng Cheng Zheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Radu Barbălată tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Bădiță in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radu Barbălată narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Radu Barbălată was a little too slow when Porziano Marchitelli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-2. Nikola Milenković got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moise Bădiță. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galo van Basten in the 71st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Barbălată made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 77th minute of play. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Cheng Zheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Zheng Cheng Zheng notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Galo van Basten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RB Buzău's goalkeeper Radu Barbălată, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Curto scored 3-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Barbălată, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Zena Busacca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siricio Liotta's late challenge caught a RB Buzău's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siricio Liotta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siricio Liotta to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
