Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Leheren having to make a save. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Guillaume Bonte hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the game Simon Sabbe made a throw-in which Edward Vanderstraeten played forward. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 19th minute of the match. Rigoberto Argider scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Laurens Vandamme hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Thibault Moon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd minute, Guillaume Bonte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Argider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Argider went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Leheren. Martin Leheren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Guillaume Bonte made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Jonas Tingelholm. Rigoberto Argider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Argider. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Rigoberto Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Rigoberto Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 minutes of play, Belgium's Yves Dervaux made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Leheren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Rigoberto Argider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Argider in the 74th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Belgium booed when Deportivo Luz y Fuerza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Saran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. When Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Rigoberto Argider in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. Martin Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Martin Leheren in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Martin Leheren got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Martin Leheren. Martin Leheren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belgium's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
