The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaaf Groeneveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Celedonio Eguen came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 20 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Eguen. Matheu City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Minas Makris. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 35th minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Matheu City FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. 44 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th minute of the match. If Minas Makris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 63rd playminute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Celedonio Eguen made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Wim Wilmes could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Celedonio Eguen however easily saved by the left post. Carolo Gomez hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celedonio Eguen made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Eguen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celedonio Eguen firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
