Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robinho Salgado made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Lenny Clocheret got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute of the match Anselmo Jenaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 5th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Eguen. Matheu City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Jenaro was slow to take the kick. During this time Matheu City FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anselmo Jenaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Salgado in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Robinho Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Robinho Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robinho Salgado succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Robinho Salgado spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Belgium's goal. Mariano Egoitz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Matheu City FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Salgado in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yves Dervaux came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yves Dervaux couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Belgium booed when Matheu City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Minas Makris fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matheu City FC's protests and gave Minas Makris a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Belgium booed when Matheu City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Makris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Belgium's Siebe Michiels ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celedonio Eguen. Celedonio Eguen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Celedonio Eguen made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celedonio Eguen. The goal made the score 1-3. If Simon Sabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Matheu City FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
