Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Jullian Vranx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Fiedler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Van Linthout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paul Fiedler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Wesley Gressens charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Gressens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Wesley Gressens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mario Rõõm hit a great ball. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willy Van Linthout. Willy Van Linthout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thys Mangelschot's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thys Mangelschot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Thys Mangelschot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thys Mangelschot got his second yellow card in the match during the 48th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Thys Mangelschot hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Fiedler to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brend Schrevens in the 53rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Brend Schrevens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brend Schrevens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, Jullian Vranx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jullian Vranx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brend Schrevens came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brend Schrevens couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruly the free kick. The referee ignored Bruly's protests and gave Paul Fiedler a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Paul Fiedler got a free kick in the 76th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Fiedler in the 89th minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
