Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 15th minute of play. Omar Toledo scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Rabellino charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Rabellino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omid Kaulbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan. Celso Trevisan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the game, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Ascaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Corneliu Dridu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Ascaso. The goal made the score 2-2. 36 minutes into the game, Santiago Sartori threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dr Lecter SC's Mauro Romero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Santiago Sartori made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Mauro Romero. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 42nd minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Bilbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basilio Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Omar Toledo made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Omar Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. The supporters of Spain booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. After having played for 91 minutes, Carles Cherro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carles Cherro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pau Herreros short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Celso Trevisan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Spain were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
