In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdemarsvik FF's goalkeeper Jimmie Haeger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Richard Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredric Hedman ran back to his position shaking his head. Esbjörn Olofsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Vallmark came out and tried to block the shot, but Esbjörn Olofsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Esbjörn Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Vallmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Ivar Svensson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Valdemarsvik FF's Jimmie Haeger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Åke Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Vallmark having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fredric Hedman made the kick off in the second half. Lunde FF's Peter Vallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Blom in the 53rd minute of play. Jimmie Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Hedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Valdemarsvik FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Kjellqvist came free, but Jimmie Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunde FF were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Valdemarsvik FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calle Strömberg took the corner. In the 60th minute of the match Lunde FF got a corner. Valdemarsvik FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esbjörn Olofsson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Vallmark saved Lunde FF from getting behind. In the 77thth minute of the game Jens-Åke Blom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunde FF's Peter Vallmark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fredric Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Jens-Åke Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Vallmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Ivar Svensson took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Jimmie Haeger to make any attempt to save it.
