The supporters of Vattnäs SK booed when Lunde FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lunde FF's zone, Eric Helander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Vallmark came out of the goal and Eric Helander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Vattnäs SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Svensson came free, but Joakim Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vattnäs SK's Joakim Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Svensson in the 10th minute of play. Henry Almkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The tension between the Vattnäs SK and the Lunde FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Kåre Biörk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Vallmark was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jörgen Gunnarsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Einar Lindsten in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Vallmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vattnäs SK's Joakim Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Svensson in the 46th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Lunde FF's Ivar Svensson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Bjurström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Lunde FF's Magne Wiberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Lindsten in the 80th minute of play forced Lunde FF's goalkeeper Peter Vallmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Hedman in the 84th minute of the match. Jörgen Gunnarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Vallmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
