Karl-Åke Flinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Lindsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Gunnarsson in the 6th minute of play forced Hamburgsund's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Vattnäs SK's Einar Lindsten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Åke Flinck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl-Åke Flinck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Gunnarsson's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Jörgen Gunnarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Åke Flinck. Hamburgsund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörgen Gunnarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Karl-Åke Flinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Eric Helander hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Sebastian Nyberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vattnäs SK's Joakim Bjurström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jörgen Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Lindsten in the 31st minute of play forced Hamburgsund's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Einar Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vattnäs SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Einar Lindsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Åke Flinck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einar Lindsten in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Åke Flinck saved Hamburgsund from getting behind. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamburgsund's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Flinck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Vattnäs SK booed when Hamburgsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Åke Flinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Lindsten in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburgsund's zone, Einar Lindsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Åke Flinck came out of the goal and Einar Lindsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vattnäs SK's Einar Lindsten got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Einar Lindsten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Åke Flinck came out and tried to block the shot, but Einar Lindsten slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. In the 66th minute Sebastian Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Flinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Biörk in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Ludwig Pihlblad notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Vattnäs SK's Joakim Bjurström. Joakim Bjurström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Ludwig Pihlblad made a precise shot to the right of Joakim Bjurström. Vattnäs SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hamburgsund! When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Vattnäs SK's Eric Helander got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Karl-Åke Flinck. After some careless play in the Vattnäs SK defense, Ludwig Pihlblad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joakim Bjurström. The Vattnäs SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joakim Bjurström should have stopped the shot. Karl-Åke Flinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Lindsten in the 99th minute of play. The Vattnäs SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
