Kornelius Gerstner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Kornelius Gerstner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Gregor Spoorendonk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Kölner Sportverein fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Kölner Sportverein's Marco Kau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the match, Simon Sigman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kölner Sportverein's Carl Bauriegel. Carl Bauriegel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carl Bauriegel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Sigman in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Sigman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Einar Lindsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Simon Sigman made a precise shot to the right of Carl Bauriegel. Kölner Sportverein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Joakim Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kornelius Gerstner in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, David Olsman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marco Kau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Kölner Sportverein's Kurt Rose got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gregor Spoorendonk's late challenge caught a Vattnäs SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregor Spoorendonk helped the player get up and apologised. Carl Bauriegel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Lindsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Bjurström made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Marco Kau sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Vattnäs SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kornelius Gerstner came free, but Joakim Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Kau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Einar Lindsten came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Vattnäs SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Einar Lindsten couldn't finish the play. Marco Kau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Joakim Bjurström made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Kölner Sportverein got a freekick which was hit by Leon Bergmann. Carl Bauriegel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Lindsten in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, David Olsman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Kölner Sportverein's Joakim Bjurström threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kornelius Gerstner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Kornelius Gerstner came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Kölner Sportverein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kornelius Gerstner couldn't finish the play. Vattnäs SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
