Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Amado Jordy got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Elpidio Ekain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leopoldo Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Ñacuñán AC booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ñacuñán AC's Santos Cayo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Lastur. That made the score 0-4 after 65 minutes of play. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Astor Guib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Lastur made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Ñacuñán AC's Hector Fero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hector Fero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ñacuñán AC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hector Fero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ñacuñán AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Jeremias Cisco placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Leopoldo Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Cayo in the 76th minute. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Cayo in the 79th minute of the match. Leopoldo Lastur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Astor Guib went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Delmiro Oinaz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Quinto during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Quinto. 90 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Cayo. 96 minutes into the match, Santos Cayo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leopoldo Lastur, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Guib got free with Leopoldo Lastur in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Leones FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ñacuñán AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ñacuñán AC.
