Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Benjamin Schmelter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Benjamin Schmelter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Schmelter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan-Nicolas Fürderer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Austria's Fabio Auer got control of the ball when Johann Hassel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Fabio Schneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Schmelter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Fehr kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johann Hassel to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Zachariassen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, David Schmitter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Schmelter in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute of the match Mechanical Animals got a corner. Austria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Schmitter ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mechanical Animals's corner Johann Hassel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabio Auer quite easily take care of the ball. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Schmelter, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes Mechanical Animals got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Schmelter. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Nalder got free with Marian Oelke in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Nicolas Fürderer in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Jan-Nicolas Fürderer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mechanical Animals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Austria the free kick. Jan-Nicolas Fürderer kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Hubert Sieberichs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Schmelter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Schmelter came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jan-Nicolas Fürderer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mechanical Animals's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Nicolas Fürderer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 86 minutes, Hubert Sieberichs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mechanical Animals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Sieberichs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Benjamin Schmelter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mechanical Animals's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Schmelter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The attack was good, but when Tom-Lukas Ramusch in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Leonhard Maier hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Mechanical Animals players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
