In the 14th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Germany's Frank Sachs to fire away a dangerous shot which Cléber Souza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Hugo Barreto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Barreto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Maxaranguape - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Arnt Aronsen. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arí Paiva in the 44th minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Arí Paiva sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Betão de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Arí Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 64thth minute of the game Hugo Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Dráuzio Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 minutes, Arí Paiva made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Hugo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão de Medeiros in the 86th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Moreno in the 95th minute of the match. A collision led to Maxaranguape - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Arnt Aronsen hit a great ball. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
