When Daniel Rives came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Zgierskie Zlewy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Rives couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Zgierskie Zlewy's Aureliusz Kosakowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 56th minute of the game. Karol Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 57th minute of the match. Fran Tudor hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Zgierskie Zlewy made a substitution. Barnaba Bazylnikov replaced Robert Doicaru. Fran Tudor made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zdzislaw Moczkiewicz. Felipinho Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Karol Ruszkowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Karol Ruszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Karol Ruszkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karol Ruszkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caetano Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
