Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Jilek in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcis Lucan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Jilek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Narcis Lucan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Dostal in the 14th minute of play forced RapidBarcelona's goalkeeper Narcis Lucan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, RapidBarcelona's Anton Terzian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Narcis Lucan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Dostal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Denis Dostal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Lucan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Anton Terzian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Terzian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Anton Terzian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vavrinec Holub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. David Rusil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Lucan having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Terzian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Olimpiu Remus came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the RapidBarcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Remus couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the game, RapidBarcelona's Anton Terzian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Terzian in the 60th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Terzian's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Narcis Lucan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Jilek to maneuver through the defense. Sergiu Stănoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Potra hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. David Rusil hit a great ball. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Terzian in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Terzian in the 81st minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Terzian in the 84th minute of the match. Narcis Lucan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Dalimil Charvat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the RapidBarcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Dalimil Charvat.
