Gaudencio Lleir came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Errando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 12th playminute. If Daniel Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, one of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴:s Gaudencio Lleir showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Barreto:s penalty. The excitement rose when Portugal's Felipe Barreto after 22 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalkeeper to hold. Gaudencio Lleir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaudencio Lleir. Gaudencio Lleir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Hernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ got a freekick which was hit by Astor Gabrio. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Viriato Moura hit a great ball. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Moura got free with Gaudencio Lleir in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Daniel Pimentel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Gaudencio Lleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Evelio Olo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evelio Olo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evelio Olo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Pimentel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gaudencio Lleir made a huge save. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolomeu Dias in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Lleir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Bartolomeu Dias put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Gaudencio Lleir. In the 94th minute, Bartolomeu Dias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaudencio Lleir, passed just outside the right post. Bartolomeu Dias in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaudencio Lleir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
