Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Isias's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Fodor Daniel had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Wlodzimierz Lepper's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51st match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Lepper to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Lázaro Colon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 64 minutes, Nicanor Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juniors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Porfirio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Isias in the 69th minute of play. Prospero Furman replaced Daniel Loi. Balazs Lajos made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Juniors FC's Wlodzimierz Lepper. The audience was convinced that Enrique Frasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
