An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 3rd minute of play forced AN&KARASİPAHİLER's goalkeeper Eser İpekçi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eser İpekçi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eser İpekçi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Birol Birge had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eser İpekçi was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Eser İpekçi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by AN&KARASİPAHİLER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 58th minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eser İpekçi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albin Holweck took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eser İpekçi. Eser İpekçi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Frank Sachs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eser İpekçi came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Sachs slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 62nd minute. A collision led to AN&KARASİPAHİLER getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Çağan Derdiyok hit a great ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match Mustafa Birol Birge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when AN&KARASİPAHİLER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağan Derdiyok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser İpekçi having to interfere. Germany played a much better game than AN&KARASİPAHİLER and deserved their victory. The AN&KARASİPAHİLER players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
