Amado Vigário recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Garanhão do SUL's Amado Vigário in the 9th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tommy Kahn was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Germany through an amazing save. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Edgar Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's João Viana broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Frank Sachs charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sachs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Vigário came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Viana in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Costa in the 25th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Frasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's Michal Kaczanka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Amado Vigário capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amado Vigário really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a Garanhão do SUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garanhão do SUL's Eusébio Mesquita was substituted for João Viana. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. In the 66th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. 孙誉剑 replaced Amado Vigário. After having played for 69 minutes, Edgar Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alex Frasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Edgar Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes, Chris Mergenthaler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Garanhão do SUL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Frasca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 91st minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Costa in the 95th minute of play.
