Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) GeRaÇãO-83's Dieguinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Couto in the 6th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute of the match GeRaÇãO-83 got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Billy Backman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Paraíba having to interfere. GeRaÇãO-83's Dionisio Gonzo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gust Ennemans, made in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Couto came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ren Jie Fan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Ren Jie Fan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Dieguinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Billy Backman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ren Jie Fan to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dieguinho Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dieguinho Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 53rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Dieguinho Paraíba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 59 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Paraíba having to interfere. Dieguinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Ren Jie Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, GeRaÇãO-83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Veiga to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dieguinho Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. Netherlands were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
