Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Veron in the 24th minute. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Bernard Janiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Janiczek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Janiczek was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Enhebrator FC from getting a goal against them. After 59 played minutes Enhebrator FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Marz. Enhebrator FC's Dries van Veldhuizen was substituted for Bernard Janiczek. Bonifacio Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 61st minute of the match. Bonifacio Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Enhebrator FC's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Baumer came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 72nd minute of play forced Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolomeu Dias succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Felipinho Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Bonifacio Baumer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Enhebrator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Bonifacio Baumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Jairo Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomeu Dias to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Calvet in the 88th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bonifacio Baumer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Bonifacio Baumer in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
