When Fidel Macias fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Cavern Club's protests and gave Fidel Macias a yellow card for diving instead. Fidel Macias kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Juan Natal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Natal. Juan Natal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ovidio Lehior came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the The Cavern Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Lehior couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 23rd minute of play forced The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Juan Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after The Cavern Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner led Hungary's Major Barna to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Natal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Rojelio in the 27th minute of play. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Natal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Natal. The Cavern Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 43 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Juan Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes The Cavern Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Boros Benedek made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that The Cavern Club's Juan Natal managed to reach the ball for a save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when MartÃn Cabezon made the kick off in the second half. Juan Natal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Balazs Lajos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Natal. Balazs Lajos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 62 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Juan Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Natal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Victoriano Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to The Cavern Club getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eustaquio Palban hit a great ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Antal Valentin from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Juan Natal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 74 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Natal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Juan Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Natal having to interfere. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juan Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
