The crowd rose to their feet as Yoel Liñan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by The Cavern Club's Santiago Emesto. But to his dismay, Santiago Emesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 27th minute, The Cavern Club's Geovani Mendonça dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoel Liñan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoel Liñan in the 35th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Arixo came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
