In the 5th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Filipo having to interfere. The Alco FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Alco FC's Oskar Kolberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alco FC's Delmiro Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Filipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Michael Stabbe lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alco FC! Alco FC:s Delmiro Filipo showed great skill when he stopped Chris Nygaard:s penalty. The throw-in from Olof Kihlberg in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Olav Graversen hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Alco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Pilberg to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 57th minute of play. Oskar Kolberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute of play forced Alco FC's goalkeeper Delmiro Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Kolberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Kenn Skou threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alco FC's Joakim Forssberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alco FC's Joakim Forssberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bjarne Kirkegaard in the 69 minute of the game. Olof Kihlberg made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Oskar Kolberg. The throw-in from Kenn Skou in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alco FC's Joakim Forssberg. Oskar Kolberg's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oskar Kolberg helped the player get up and apologised. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delmiro Filipo came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertram Svenningsen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 86th minute. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
