In the 22nd minute Xavier Gallagher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saúl Zambujal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of England booed when G. D. PENICHE V2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tato Orihuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Kyle Cox notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of G. D. PENICHE V2's Saúl Zambujal. Saúl Zambujal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saúl Zambujal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micah Macdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 40th minute of play forced G. D. PENICHE V2's goalkeeper Saúl Zambujal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in G. D. PENICHE V2's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saúl Zambujal came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Stalin Steckamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cooper Thompson to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tato Orihuela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Micah Macdonald could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Saúl Zambujal however easily saved by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, G. D. PENICHE V2's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Saúl Zambujal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Gallagher kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Alberto Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G. D. PENICHE V2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the G. D. PENICHE V2 defense, Kyle Cox kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saúl Zambujal. The G. D. PENICHE V2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saúl Zambujal should have stopped the shot. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Cardoso in the 81st minute of play. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saúl Zambujal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kyle Cox showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 87 minute of play. G. D. PENICHE V2's Saúl Zambujal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caelan Hayes in the 92nd minute of play. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. G. D. PENICHE V2 were victorious despite being under pressure from England for much of the match.
