Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Ereinotz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Venerando in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lili Oddang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Severo Ereinotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 34th minute. Arturo Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lili Oddang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. If Jeremias Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Hitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Lili Oddang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Lili Oddang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severo Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Ereinotz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB the free kick. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Ereinotz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Jeremias Venerando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Venerando in the 83rd minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
