In the 45th minute Telis Ntasios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Italy booed when tHe SOnS of rAGnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Papoutsakis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for tHe SOnS of rAGnar. 62 minutes into the match, Walter Giardino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Giardino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. 65 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Telis Ntasios came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. tHe SOnS of rAGnar made a substitution. Charis Leontiou replaced Giannis Papoutsakis. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Benjamin Mikolas was substituted for Telis Ntasios. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Alexandris in the 69th minute of play. José Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
