The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Gláuber Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 20 de Março FC and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gláuber Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Antal Valentin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renan Schmidt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 6 minutes 20 de Março FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Balazs Lajos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 20 de Março FC's Renan Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of 20 de Março FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Jacinto in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes 20 de Março FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renan Schmidt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, 20 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Schmidt. Renan Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 20 de Março FC's Renan Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 40th minute of play. Olaf Pietrasz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 20 de Março FC's Pedro Luís Alvarenga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bakos Endre in the 43 minute of the game. A collision led to 20 de Março FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gláuber Cruz hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. After 59 played minutes 20 de Março FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Aparecido. In the 60th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Renan Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Paulão Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 70th minute of play forced 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Renan Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renan Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Renan Schmidt in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes, Aytuğ Sabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 20 de Março FC and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, 20 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytuğ Sabi to maneuver through the defense. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
