Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Jacobo Orland struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carboncito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Poz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute Cosme Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Cosme Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carboncito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Sugar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Brion having to make a save. A collision led to Carboncito getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Orlando Beti hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Sugar in the 26th minute of the match. Zeledon Esdras hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Sugar in the 33rd minute of play. Generoso Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. When Cosme Sugar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Carboncito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Sugar couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Cosme Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Sugar in the 51st minute of play. Higinio Brion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Cosme Sugar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Sugar in the 58th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when Carboncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Sugar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Higinio Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Schwerner charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Linus Schwerner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carboncito booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Severiano Henric sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Sugar came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Severiano Henric kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot.
