In the 17th minute of the match, Timmy Bergfeldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilson Amorim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Gustaf Snell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Erik Låsberg in the 25th minute. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Åke Dahlqvist saved Wetterqvist Boys BK from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Snell came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Fabricio Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Wetterqvist Boys BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Felipinho Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipinho Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Dahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 88th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Åke Dahlqvist having to make a save. Felipinho Amorim came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nils-Åke Dahlqvist could save by the left post.
