A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando Severo. The supporters of Scarlet Metal FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstantin Ksirihi struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scarlet Metal FC. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Severo in the 23rd minute of play. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmílson Moreira, made in the 26th minute of the game. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Ksirihi in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Cesinha Batista made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Luís Guilherme Miranda made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Régis Paiva. In the 42nd match minute, Scarlet Metal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Lima to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Ksirihi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Régis Paiva made a kick off. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Paiva in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Scarlet Metal FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vítor Lima hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Ksirihi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Régis Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Scarlet Metal FC's Toninho Lago got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Scarlet Metal FC's Toninho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 77th minute of play. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Konstantin Ksirihi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 83rd minute of play forced Scarlet Metal FC's goalkeeper Toninho Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Scarlet Metal FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scarlet Metal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
