Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marc-André Van Bastén started the match with the kick off. Marc-André Van Bastén had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franciszek Zieba was slow to take the kick. During this time GORNIK PIASKI's players had a chance to rest. Tomasz Burufski made a great header on GORNIK PIASKI's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Boguslaw Zawaski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. GORNIK PIASKI's Boguslaw Zawaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 23rd minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Boguslaw Zawaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marc-André Van Bastén in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, GORNIK PIASKI's Marc-André Van Bastén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GORNIK PIASKI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franciszek Zieba in the 41st minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Tomasz Burufski got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Marc-André Van Bastén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GORNIK PIASKI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc-André Van Bastén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GORNIK PIASKI booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Schwerner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, GORNIK PIASKI's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Boguslaw Zawaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Marc-André Van Bastén came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franciszek Zieba was slow to take the kick. During this time GORNIK PIASKI's players had a chance to rest. Malte Schiele tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tommy Kahn. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 76th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc-André Van Bastén, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. GORNIK PIASKI's Franciszek Zieba got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc-André Van Bastén in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of GORNIK PIASKI booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Marc-André Van Bastén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc-André Van Bastén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tomasz Burufski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GORNIK PIASKI walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
