Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tobias Markel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Tobias Markel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Sverker Svensson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abel Peli's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
