After having played for 25 minutes, Özcan Balcik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uetendorf Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özcan Balcik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Aberle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Alon LeBatelier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Glenn Huez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-1. Mathijn Doctor's late challenge caught a Uetendorf Wanderers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathijn Doctor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Huez in the 46th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Amir Rrahmani put in a rough tackle. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özcan Balcik in the 77th minute of play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özcan Balcik went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The Uetendorf Wanderers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
