Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Galapagos Islands FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Dennis Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Åström came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galapagos Islands FC's Dennis Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 13th minute of play. Eugen Mantoiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dennis Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Galapagos Islands FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Lars Meesters managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Galapagos Islands FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Mantoiu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Mantoiu. Markus Åström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 40th playminute. Galapagos Islands FC's Dennis Lindberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Galapagos Islands FC from getting a goal against them. Gijsbert ter Kruimer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 60th playminute. Dennis Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Eugen Mantoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Hatip in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Dennis Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 69th minute of play. Dennis Lindberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 70th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Nyman in the 72nd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 1-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Lindberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Galapagos Islands FC's goalkeeper Dennis Lindberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Dennis Lindberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Galapagos Islands FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Galapagos Islands FC's Dennis Lindberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Dennis Lindberg in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Niklas Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Nyman in the 96th minute of play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunnar Nyman went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Galapagos Islands FC to leave the ground with a draw.
