An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 8th minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Rene Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Fonso in the 11th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Xie Bin Wei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of the match. Bruno Fonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. The Club Ibiza fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gelu Cozmâncă kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Bruno Fonso notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Ibiza made a substitution. Beliran Poblaciones replaced Cacey 武磊. 63 minutes in the game, Sigfrido Auletta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rene Higuita having to interfere. Club Ibiza made a substitution. Faustino Asprilla replaced Bruno Fonso. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gelu Cozmâncă in the 66 minute of the game. In the 69thth minute of the game Faustino Asprilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Beliran Poblaciones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Higuita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Faustino Asprilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Asprilla in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Club Ibiza getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Xie Bin Wei hit a great ball. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Sansone Vanella made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guiscardo Davide however managed to control. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ibiza from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sostene Vitulli hit a great ball. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Ibiza's Faustino Asprilla. But to his dismay, Faustino Asprilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Club Ibiza could leave the field as winners, despite Italy having more of the ball for most of the match.
