In the 3rd minute, Siricio Liotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. 4 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taras Romanchuk. Samuel Lameiras made in the 5th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Taras Romanchuk. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epigonoi Honjas in the 11th minute of the match. Siricio Liotta might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yao Bin Yun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siricio Liotta ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, Duarte Carvalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori, 1-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Sigfrido Auletta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfrido Auletta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Fundação Marques dos Reis's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Yao Bin Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Carvalho in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Fundação Marques dos Reis got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wesly Goemyne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Bin Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Fundação Marques dos Reis got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Lameiras. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fundação Marques dos Reis made a substitution. Filipe Viveiros replaced Duarte Carvalho. The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taras Romanchuk in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Yao Bin Yun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Fundação Marques dos Reis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Lameiras to maneuver through the defense. Porziano Marchitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Yao Bin Yun made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Alexandre Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Samuel Lameiras threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Sostene Vitulli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 81 minutes into the game, Porziano Marchitelli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yao Bin Yun. Porziano Marchitelli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Yao Bin Yun made a huge save. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 91st minute of play forced Fundação Marques dos Reis's goalkeeper Yao Bin Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Ferreira's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Tiago Ferreira got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Fundação Marques dos Reis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
