Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Baltazar Carvalho in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bucéfalo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 18th minute of the match. When Romário Passos fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bucéfalo FC's protests and gave Romário Passos a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Bucéfalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Romário Passos. Arthur Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bucéfalo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Edgard Costa got a free kick in the 31st minute. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bucéfalo FC's Cláudio Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 39th minute of play forced Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. 42 minutes into the match, Bucéfalo FC's Baltazar Carvalho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cláudio Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 57th minute of play forced Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's Antal Valentin came free and shot a quick shot against goal 67 minutes in the game, fortunately Cláudio Taffarel had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A collision led to Bucéfalo FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Edgard Costa hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Baltazar Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 77th minute of the match. Cláudio Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Bucéfalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Cláudio Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Baltazar Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Costa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cláudio Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary played a much better game than Bucéfalo FC and deserved their victory. The Bucéfalo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
