Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norbert Dabrowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. 19 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Cavenaghi came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Flavio Vittori, was totally fooled by Taltum FC's Norbert Dabrowski, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Marcelo Cavenaghi sped through Italy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhang Hao Qing having to interfere. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The supporters of Italy booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Wickander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Zhang Hao Qing in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 80th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Dabrowski to maneuver through the defense. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. With a little luck, Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zhang Hao Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 87th minute of play. After 90 minutes Taltum FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siricio Liotta who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Guiscardo Davide to score against Zhang Hao Qing in Taltum FC's goal. 3-3 after 91 minutes. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espinosa Marco, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Espinosa Marco's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The Italy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Taltum FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
