Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Cole kicked off to start the match. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brooklyn SC's Luís Schmidt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jospeh McNally came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Brooklyn SC's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jospeh McNally came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Cole in the 22nd minute of play. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Jonas Cole scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 1-1. Jonas Cole scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Cole kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes Brooklyn SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Jospeh McNally despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jospeh McNally. Brooklyn SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trenton Long got free with Arnout Reekers in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 43rd minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jospeh McNally having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brooklyn SC's Jonas Cole managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kees Mooiweer in the 53 minute of the game. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Mooiweer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trenton Long hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Jospeh McNally in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jospeh McNally was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Gustaaf Groeneveldt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Jospeh McNally made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Brooklyn SC's Stacy McDonough managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 68 minute of the game. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jospeh McNally having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Jospeh McNally successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brooklyn SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. In the 78th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jospeh McNally. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Cole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
