Romania's Alex Serban got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Milosz Skirzynski took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carol Stinga. Carol Stinga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 18th minute Sanda Cutov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Koperski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Koperski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 23rd minute of play forced Tornado's goalkeeper Igor Koperski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carol Stinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Lato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tornado's Igor Koperski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanda Cutov in the 34th minute of play. Milosz Skirzynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Carol Stinga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Tornado's goal looked a bit too open when Sanda Cutov came free, but Igor Koperski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szymon Zdrojowy. Szymon Dzerwucki scored 2-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carol Stinga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milosz Skirzynski to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Adam Olaru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Koperski, 2-2. After 56 played minutes Tornado got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Olejniczak. Teofil Frodyma kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Sanda Cutov made a precise shot to the right of Igor Koperski. Tornado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Tornado made a substitution. Aleksander Furgal replaced Konrad Bochinski. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tornado's goalkeeper Igor Koperski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Koperski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Serban in the 65th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Romania's Igor Koperski threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vasile Ciumak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 70 minutes into the match, Tornado's goalkeeper Igor Koperski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sanda Cutov. In the 72nd minute of the match, Anton Stinga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Igor Koperski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 78 minutes into the game, Romania's Anton Stinga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Koperski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. 82 minutes into the match, Anton Stinga notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Tornado's Igor Koperski. Igor Koperski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vasile Ciumak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Igor Koperski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Anton Stinga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Igor Koperski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Anton Stinga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Koperski, 2-8. Igor Koperski came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Anton Stinga. But to his dismay, Anton Stinga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-9. When the final whistle sounded Romania left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tornado.
