The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 3rd minute of play forced Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Josué Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Rego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josué Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Zola Predosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siebe Michiels came free, but Josué Rego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Piermattei in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Damiano Africano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Casper Claes. Belgium's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Flecken's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casper Claes firmly grabbed it by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Zola Predosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Josué Rego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nigel Devos lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Casper Claes went to the wrong direction when Hugo Flecken was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yves Dervaux made a kick off. When Fortunato Marra came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Zola Predosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Marra couldn't finish the play. Zola Predosa FC's Alvise Mascitti was substituted for Fortunato Marra. Zola Predosa FC made a substitution. Cosimo Sciamanna replaced Amedeo Piermattei. Hugo Flecken struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zola Predosa FC. A collision led to Zola Predosa FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alvise Mascitti hit a great ball. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
